• Barnegat Mourns Eileen Garvin As Husband Faces Murder Charge (jerseyshoreonline.com) — Barnegat residents are grieving longtime school bus driver and parishioner Eileen Garvin, whose funeral Mass was held at St. Mary's Church while her husband appeared in court on a murder charge. Police discovered her body after a welfare check at their Windward Drive home, and the school district has honored her with memorials on buses across town.
   

• Yoon, Lachowicz Power Toms River North Past Barnegat in Dominant 4-0 Shutout (tapinto.net) — Barnegat's field hockey team fell 4–0 on the road to Toms River North on Tuesday, struggling to generate offense against heavy pressure.
