Southern jumped out to a 21-0 first-half lead, then relied on key defensive stops late as Point Boro mounted a strong fourth-quarter comeback.
• Shellfish farmers warn overregulation could drive NJ aquaculture to 'extinction' • New Jersey Monitor (newjerseymonitor.com) — Shellfish farmers, including Barnegat Oyster Collective's Matt Gregg, are warning legislators that state environmental rules could strangle New Jersey's aquaculture industry. After visiting Barnegat Bay operations, lawmakers advanced bills to broaden aquaculture definitions, strengthen industry representation on advisory councils, and explore agritourism, aiming to keep local clam and oyster farms viable amid rising costs and regulatory hurdles.
