WEST CREEK, NJ — Two people face drug charges following a narcotics investigation and search of a West Creek home, Stafford police said.
The Stafford Township Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit concluded the investigation at about 5 p.m. Friday, according to the department.
Charged are 61-year-old Debra A. Morris of West Creek and 44-year-old Terrison J. Frederick of Elmer. According to the department, the investigation led to a court-authorized residential search warrant for 2 Robin Court in West Creek, as well as a search warrant for Morris.
During the execution of the warrant, Morris and Frederick were found at the residence, according to police. A search of the property resulted in the seizure of suspected quantities of methamphetamine, cocaine, crack cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, drug paraphernalia and U.S. currency, according to the department.
Police charged Morris with second-degree possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine over one-half ounce. She also was charged with third-degree possession with intent to distribute cocaine, crack cocaine, heroin and heroin/fentanyl, all in amounts less than one-half ounce, according to the department.
Morris also was charged with third-degree possession of methamphetamine, cocaine, crack cocaine, heroin and heroin/fentanyl. In addition, police charged her with two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, which were listed as disorderly persons offenses.
Frederick was charged with second-degree possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine over one-half ounce, according to police. He also was charged with third-degree possession with intent to distribute cocaine, crack cocaine, heroin and heroin/fentanyl in amounts less than one-half ounce, along with third-degree possession of methamphetamine, cocaine, crack cocaine, heroin and heroin/fentanyl.
Police also charged Frederick with third-degree money laundering.
After processing at Stafford Township Police Department, Morris was released on a summons pending a future appearance in Ocean County Superior Court, according to the department.
Frederick was transported to the Ocean County Jail, where he remains pending a detention hearing in Ocean County Superior Court, according to police.
