Barnegat Bengals Fall To Matawan 40 to 17

Matawan rolled over the Barnegat Bengals on Friday night by a score of 40 to 17, according to Shore Sports Network.

As if the loss weren’t enough, Bengals senior quarterback Cinjun Erskine fractured his ankle and will be out for the season, coach Bob Davis said.

That means Erskine will miss Barnegat’s South Jersey Group II playoff game, Shore Sports Network said.
