BARNEGAT, NJ — Summer is finally here, and with it brings a great variety of farmers markets to enjoy local produce and other treats. The Barnegat Farmers Market, located at 14 Birdsall St, is one of the best around.
Held every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., there is no shortage of different vendors offering all sorts of things. Try fresh sourdough bread from the local Bay Ave Baking Company. Make a meal out of it by visiting one of the farm stands, like Krowicki Farms or Stillwell Farms and getting some great local produce. For something special, check out Cream Ridge Winery or Little Water Distillery for some drinks.
