Barnegat Man Assaulted Woman, Caught With Drugs In Hotel Room: Police
Corey Mullin, 25, was charged with aggravated assault and caught with ketamine, psilocybin mushrooms, meth and drug paraphernalia.
LONG BEACH TWP., NJ — A Barnegat man is accused of assaulting a woman in a Long Beach Island hotel room and having drugs on him, according to Long Beach Township police.
The 20-year-old woman told police on Feb. 23 that she had been assaulted by a man inside of his hotel room, police said. She was seriously injured, police said.
Officers and the K-9 unit were able to identify the man as 25-year-old Corey Mullin. He was charged with aggravated assault and criminal restraint.

Police then searched the hotel room, and as a result, Mullin was additionally charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine, possession of psilocybin mushrooms, possession of ketamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Mullin was taken to Ocean County Jail, where he remains pending a detention hearing, police said.
