Barnegat Man Charged With Heroin Distribution, Failure To Pay Child Support

He was arrested in Toms River after an investigation found 400 wax folds in his car, police said

A Barnegat Township man and a Seaside Heights woman are being held in the Ocean County Jail after they were arrested last week when police found 402 wax folds containing heroin in the man’s car, Toms River police said.

Edward Boyer, 33, of Lexington Boulevard, Barnegat, and Lisamarie Narciso, 23, of Freemont Drive, Seaside Heights, were arrested July 2 after police stopped Boyer’s car after officers observed what they believed to be a drug transaction, Ralph Stocco, spokesman for the Toms River Police Department, said.

During the course of the investigation, officers found eight bricks of heroin (402 wax folds) and 5 grams of crack cocaine, plus $812 in cash, he said.

Boyer was charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, possession of cocaine and possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, Stocco said. Additionally, he had a warrant for unpaid child support in the amount of $17,629. He is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail, no 10 percent, on the drug charges in addition to the outstanding child support, according to Ocean County Corrections records.

Narciso, Boyer’s passenger, was placed under arrest for an outstanding warrant, Stocco said, which Ocean County Corrections records show is for shoplifting. At the Ocean County Jail she was found to be in possession of 20 wax folds containing suspect heroin which was concealed on her person. She is being held in the jail but her bail amount was not available.
