Good morning, folks. Today is Tuesday, Feb. 14. Happy Valentine's Day!

WHAT WE'RE WORKING ON:

We're asking readers to get into the spirit of Valentine's Day today by telling their own love stories. We'll be posting a story shortly with a callout asking readers to tell us how they met the one they love.

We'll also be taking you inside a busy local flower shop today to give you a glimpse of what Valentine's Day looks like for the ones making sure your beloved gets that beautiful bouquet.

Also coming up is a story on the formation of a new special needs Boy Scout troupe being organized to serve families in southern Ocean County. 

EVENTS:

• The 's five-part reading and discussion series exploring the American Civil War, led by Patricia H. Burke, continues at 7 p.m. today. For a list of the books up for discussion in the series, check out the .
