WHAT WE'RE WORKING ON:

We'll have a story for you today – pushed from yesterday – about a new Boy Scout troop for kids with special needs that's in the works for southern Ocean County.

EVENTS:

  • Barnabas Health Behavioral Health Center will offer free, confidential mental health screenings from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at Barnabas Health Behavioral Health Center, 1691 Route 9 in Toms River. Professionals will offer screenings for depression, anxiety, stress, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. To register or for more information, call 1-800-300-0628.  
  • The hosts its Teen Gamers Zone at 6 p.m., and invites teens to bring card games, board games and video games to play or check out the library's collection. No mature-rated games. No need to register.
  • The 's Teen Advisory Board meets at 7 p.m. today. Teens in grades 7 to 12 are invited to participate in community service by sharing ideas and planning fun library programs.
