Barnegat Morning Report, Feb. 27

Good morning, everybody. Today is Monday, Feb. 27. 

WHAT WE'RE WORKING ON:

Our usual look forward to the events of the week ahead is on its way this morning. We've also got a letter to the editor from an Ocean County College professor denouncing the recent allegations of wrongdoing by OCC president Jon Larsen. 

We've got some great stories planned for further down the line this week, including one on a local high school student recognized for her skills beyond the regular curriculum, a look at an ambitious effort by middle school actors and a first look at a movement to get more local seafood on New Jersey's dinner tables.

EVENTS:

• Out of work and trying to find a new job? Visit the  office, 1210 Hooper Ave., Toms Rivertoday and every Monday from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Christine Karaska of Workforce New Jersey will provide information and tips on job searches and resumes to job seekers.

• It's bingo night at the . Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for food and drinks, and the action starts at 7. Admission is $2.
