Good morning, folks. Today is Wednesday, Feb. 29 – Leap Day!

WHAT WE'RE WORKING ON:

We're starting off today with some good environmental news. Thanks to significant population improvements, bald eagles are no longer considered endangered in New Jersey. We'll have more details on the upgrade from the DEP.

We've also got a police blotter coming up, as well as a story promised yesterday on a local teen representing the county in a state competition for Vocational and Technical School students.

  • The 's Teen Writers' Guild gathers at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Stafford Branch. Young writers are invited to discuss writing styles and techniques, share projects that they are working on, participate in peer review and critique and help develop a newsletter to highlight the work of Stafford’s teen writers.
