Barnegat Reschedules July 4th Fireworks Display

The display has been moved to a later date due to projected bad weather, officials said.

BARNEGAT, NJ — Due to projected inclement weather, Barnegat's Fourth of July fireworks display has been moved from July 2 to July 9, officials said.

The concert featuring Joey D's Rockin Oldies Band, also scheduled for July 2, will be moved indoors to the Barnegat High School Auditorium. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m.

The fireworks display on June 9 will be held at Barnegat High School.
