Here are some of the important 2024-25 school year dates to get on the calendar:
Start date: Thursday, Sept. 4
NJEA Convention, no school: Monday, Nov. 4 through Friday, Nov. 8
Election Day: Tuesday, Nov. 5
Family-teacher conference, early dismissal: Monday, Nov. 25 and Tuesday, Nov. 26
Thanksgiving break: Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29
Winter break: Monday, Dec. 23 through Friday, Jan. 3
Martin Luther King Jr. Day, no school: Monday, Jan. 20
Presidents Day, no school: Monday, Feb. 17
Professional development, no school: Monday, March 10
Spring break: Monday, April 21 through Friday, April 25
Barnegat High School commencement: Wednesday, June 18
Last day of school: Thursday, June 19
