BARNEGAT, NJ — It takes a lot of skill to make a sandwich properly. And a team from Barnegat wants to prove that they do it better than anyone else in the country.

Kevin Brennan and his expert sandwich makers work at the Barnegat Jersey Mike's Subs. They're heading to Disney next month for the National G13 Competition at the Jersey Mike's Subs conference.

The team has to build a giant No. 13 (the original Italian sub, Mike's Way) as fast and as accurately as possible. The first place prize? A cool $90,000.

Check out their submission video below that earned them a spot in the competition. Only six teams out of more than 2,300 stores get the chance to compete, Brennan told Patch. Watch these experts construct a sandwich in just 70 seconds:

Brennan has experience with it, too. When he was a manager at the Brick store, his team won the competition, back in 2016. Read more: Brick Trio Crowned Jersey Mike's Sub Champions

"It almost felt like a sporting event," Brennan told Patch at the time.

And the team hopes to once again prove to the country why Jersey is in the restaurant's name.
