BARNEGAT, NJ — Albert Bille was reelected Tuesday to the Barnegat Township Committee, according to the unofficial tally.

All winners are projected and unofficial until results are confirmed by the election clerk. Projected winners will be marked in bold once all precincts have reported results.

  • Albert Bille (Republican): 2,889
  • Peggy A. Houle (Democrat): 2,229

Bille has spent nine years on the township committee. He has served as mayor, deputy mayor, planning board member, zoning board member and liaison to Barnegat’s Recreation Department, Chamber of Commerce and the Barnegat Food Pantry.

Houle is a retired teacher and former Fortune 500 manager for several companies. She is Barnegat's Democratic municipal chair.
