GALLERY: Bengals Advance Past Collingswood In First-Ever Baseball Playoff Victory
Barnegat felled Collingswood 5-1 Tuesday to earn its first playoff win in school history.
The Bengals ended with season with a bang yesterday, in a game against the Collingswood Panthers that made history for the Barnegat High School.
Feeding off the home cooking, the Bengals jumped out to an early lead, scoring three runs in the bottom of the first. After a scoreless second, Barnegat tacked on another two runs in the third for a total of five unanswered.
Marc McCoy and Rob Desanti both scored two runs with Mike Duncan scoring once. The victory was its first playoff win in school history.

Barnegat moves on to play the fourth seed, Haddonfield, in the second round of the NJSIAA tournament.
