BlueClaws Wear Special Jerseys Honoring Hurricane-Impacted Towns
Monmouth, Ocean county town names on jerseys of players, staff
It was a big hit: Opening weekend for the Lakewood BlueClaws featured special jerseys worn by players and staff for a "Restore the Shore" theme that helped Sandy charity efforts.
Each player wore a jersey with a town name on the back, highlighting a town from Monmouth or Ocean counties.
All the jerseys would be auctioned off, bids placed on a table on the concourse over the opening weekend at the stadium.
