BARNEGAT, NJ — A driver suffered a medical emergency that led to crashing the car and catching it on fire behind a carwash, Blue Wave Car Wash and Quick Lube said on their Facebook page.

The customer crashed the car in the woods behind the carwash, which then caught on fire, Blue Wave Car Wash owners said. Employees and customers were able to remove the driver from the car before it became consumed by flames. You can see video of this on the Blue Wave Car Wash Facebook page.

"We would like to thank our heroic employees and customers who jumped into action and helped remove the victim from his vehicle prior to it being engulfed by flames," Blue Wave Car Wash wrote. "We would also like to thank the Barnegat Police and Fire departments for their quick response."
