Car Crashes Into Pole In Manahawkin: Police

Stafford Police responded this week to a motor vehicle vs pole collision on East Bay Avenue near Marsha Drive.

A 1999 Toyota 4-Runner operated by Andrew Smith, 25, of Surf City was traveling west on Bay Avenue. His vehicle left the roadway striking a utility pole causing his vehicle to overturn.

Smith sustained minor injury from the collision and declined any medical attention. Traffic was diverted while waiting for the utility company to arrive and dislodge the pole from the vehicle.

Officer Justin Pascale is the investigating officer.
