Car Stolen In Manahawkin; Found In Atlantic City: Police

The 2023 black Ford Explorer was stolen from a Sugar Hill Road home and then found abandoned in Atlantic City, police said.

MANAHAWKIN, NJ — A car that was stolen from a Manahawkin home was found in Atlantic City, police said.

It was shortly before 7 a.m. on June 4 when Stafford police got the report of a stolen 2023 black Ford Explorer from a Sugar Hill Road home, according to a news release.

The car was later found in Atlantic City, abandoned, police said.

An investigation identified 21-year-old Keith Press of Atlantic City as the suspect, police said.

A warrant was issued for Press's arrest. On the morning of June 6, Presswas found by Wildwood police, who placed him under arrest and he was taken to Stafford, police said.

Press was taken to Stafford police headquarters and processed, then taken to Ocean County Jail. He was charged with theft of a motor vehicle.
