Cat Stuck In A Manahawkin Tree For Days. She's Safe, And Pregnant

If you are missing this cat, please contact Stafford Township Animal Control.

MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Stafford Township Animal Control got a call Wednesday morning about a cat. The injured feline had been stuck in a tree for a couple days.

The officer saved her from the tree and took her to the Stafford Veterinary Hospital. After an extensive medical exam, they realized something. This cat wasn't injured. She was very pregnant.

The cat had been unable to climb back down the tree on her own because of the pregnancy. Ms. Kitty — as the Township is calling her — will be placed in foster care until she delivers her kittens and they're old enough for adoption.
