Catch A Wave To Stafford Founders Day In June

Celebrate the founding of Stafford in 1759 on June 10. This year's theme is "Surf's Up, Stafford!"

STAFFORD, NJ — Stafford Founders Day has its 2023 return set, and the recreation department is inviting everyone to catch a wave and join the fun.

This year's theme is "Surf's Up, Stafford!" The annual event, celebrating the founding of Stafford all the way back in 1759, is set for June 10. A rain date is set for June 11.

The festivities kick off at 10 a.m. with the Hometown Parade stepping off from the Fire House on Stafford Avenue, proceeding to Route 9 North.

All the other fun will be held at Doc Cramer Sports Complex at 4 p.m. It includes food trucks, vendors, awards, rides, entertainment by Ridgemont High and more.

It ends with a fireworks display at dusk.
