Celebrate St. Patrick's Day With Irish Dancers At Barnegat Library
The Emerald Isle Academy of Irish Dance is set to perform at the Ocean County Library Barnegat Branch on March 4.
BARNEGAT, NJ — Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with Irish culture on March 4 at the Ocean County Library Barnegat Branch.
The Emerald Isle Academy of Irish Dance is set to perform at 2 p.m. that Saturday, performing reels, jigs, and traditional routines, modern show pieces, and soft-shoe and hard-shoe dances.
Students of the academy, which has classes in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, have achieved regional, national and world rankings.

Student Luke Sooy took second place among boys aged 13 to 14-years-old in the 2022 Oireachtas Rince na Cruinne World Championships in Ireland, a year after winning his category in the 2021 Irish Dancing and Culture North American Championship.
The performance is ideal for families with children ages three-and-older and is sponsored by the Friends of the Barnegat Library.
