Check Out New Businesses Coming To Manahawkin
Soon, locals can enjoy ice cream, donuts, a new batting cage facility and more with these spots under construction in Stafford.
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Looking for some variety? Several new businesses are under construction right now throughout Stafford Township.
"You may have noticed several buildings under construction along Rt 72 and In Stafford Park," Mayor Greg Myhre wrote on Facebook. These new businesses were brought up by Councilman Thomas Steadman at a recent Township Council meeting.
Coming soon to Stafford are: Panera Bread (next to the new Chick-Fil-A), Rich's Ice Cream (Route 72 and South Union Street), Dunkin' Donuts (former Burger King) and Popeyes (in Stafford Square).

A Jiffy Lube is also opening at Stafford Park.
Jersey Shore Elite Training, batting cages, are coming to 817 Route 9.

A dental office is planned for Route 9 and Manor Drive across from the church as well.
Steadman did not have any information about grand opening dates for any of these places, but promised to keep everyone posted.
"Which one are you the most excited to see open?" Myhre asked.
