Community Wide Cleanup Set In Stafford

Help clean up Stafford Township this month with the Stafford Township Green Team and Alliance for a Living Ocean.

STAFFORD, NJ — Looking for a way to make a difference in the community? Join the Stafford Township Green Team and Alliance for a Living Ocean on April 21 for a community-wide cleanup, rain or shine.

There are several locations that you can head to in town to pick up trash, just in time for Earth Day (which is April 22).

Supplies will be provided, but all volunteers are encouraged to bring their own bucket or repurposed trash bag.

The locations to clean are as follows:

  • Bridge to Nowhere (end of Stafford Avenue)
  • Walt Brummer Boulevard behind Stafford's Municipal Complex
  • Manahawkin Lake Park
  • Ocean Acres Elementary School
  • Neptune Basin
  • End of Oxycocus Road
  • Mill Creek Park
  • Forecastle Basin (parking lot off Breakers Drive)
