Decoy And Gunning Show Returns To Ocean County This Weekend

TUCKERTON, NJ — For the 40th year, join the Ocean County Parks and Recreation Department for the Annual Old Time Barnegat Bay Decoy and Gunning Show.

Held rain or shine at Tip Seaman County Park and Tuckerton Seaport in Tuckerton on Sept. 24 and 25, this beloved annual event features something for everyone.

Check out new and antique decoys, hunting and fishing gear, collectibles, duck boats, hunting guide services, live music, food, demonstrations and creek boat rides. There will be more than 300 waterfowling exhibitors and vendors available.

Contests are open for decoy carving, duck and goose calling, hunting retriever dogs, boat building, skeet shooting, archery and youth and adult art and photo contests.

Park at the high school on Nugentown Road or Freedom Fields County Road on Route 539 to be picked up by shuttle buses. The buses will drop guests off at either location from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
