Downed Poles In Stafford Snarl Traffic, Cause Power Outages: Police

STAFFORD, NJ — Downed poles are causing traffic issues and power outages in and around Stafford Wednesday afternoon, according to police.

Multiple electrical poles are down in the area of Robert Drive and Morris Boulevard, Stafford police said at about 12:45 p.m. Wednesday.

The downed poles have caused power outages in Ship Bottom, police there said.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area. Atlantic City Electric is on scene working to make repairs.

"Expect delays and use caution if traveling nearby. We will provide updates as they become available," Stafford police said.
