East Bay Avenue Will Be Closed At Heron Drive For Four To Six Weeks

East Bay Avenue in Manahawkin will be closed at Heron Drive for the next six weeks so the Ocean County Engineering Department can replace a culvert in the area, according to a Nixle alert from the Stafford Township Police Department.

The project is expected to last between four to six weeks.

Motorists leaving Long Beach Island can use Marsha Drive. The old Causeway and Mud City Crab House are also accessible from Marsha Drive.

Eddin Ice andTony's Bait and Tackle will have to be accessed by traveling east and turning around near Chapman's Marina. Use the exit by Mallard Island Yacht club, but remember to exit, you must use the entrance by the Yacht Club.
