Easter Events In Southern Ocean County On Saturday

Here's a list of Easter egg hunts slated for Saturday in Southern Ocean County:

Ocean Township will hold its annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday at the Waretown Lake.

The egg hunt was postponed from last week due to inclement weather.

Children ages six and under should meet at the lake at 12:45 p.m. The hunt starts promptly at 1 p.m.

Children ages 7 through 12 should meet at the lake at 2 p.m. That hunt starts at 2:15 p.m. Light refreshments will be served after the event, according to a post on the Ocean Township Police Department's Facebook page.

Surf City - The Surf City Fire Department will hold "Breakfast with the Easter Bunny" from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the firehouse. An Easter egg hunt will be held in front of Borough Hall from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Long Beach Township - The Long Beach Township P.B.A. will hold a free Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. at the Lauren Rousseau's Playground at 6800 Boulevard.
