Easter Weekend Fun Set For Stafford

Residents can participate in a 5K fun run, breakfast with the Easter Bunny, and an Easter Egg-Stravaganza across two days.

STAFFORD, NJ — Stafford Township is set to host three community events in celebration of the Easter weekend. Activities include a Bunny Hop 5K Fun Run & Walk, Breakfast with the Easter Bunny and an Easter Egg-Stravaganza, spanning Saturday, March 28, and Sunday, March 29.

The Stafford Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary will host Breakfast with the Easter Bunny on March 28. This event offers two seating times: 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Attendees can enjoy a pancake breakfast, take photos with the Easter Bunny, and participate in an Easter Egg Hunt, weather permitting. Admission is $15 for adults, $8 for children aged 3 to 10, and free for children 2 and under.

On March 29, the Bunny Hop 5K Fun Run & Walk will commence at the Stafford Township Municipal Complex. Packet pickup for participants begins at 7 a.m., with the race starting at 8 a.m.. The registration fee is $35 before March 28, increasing to $40 on race day. This event supports the volunteers of Stafford Township EMS.

Following the 5K, the Stafford Recreation Easter Egg-Stravaganza will take place at the Stafford Township Municipal Building from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 29. This afternoon event will feature games, food, Easter eggs, and a visit from the Easter Bunny. It is presented as a continuation of the day's festivities and an opportunity for community members to celebrate the season with family and friends.
