Amity Acres Day Camp Open House

Amity Acres Day Camp, Waretown, will host an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. on February 27 for campers and parents interested in day camp this summer.  Camp is in session for eight weeks from June 27 to August 19, 2011

Amity Acres Day Camp is a summer camp operated by the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore. Every week of camp offers a variety activities, including archery, arts and crafts, nature and environmental programs, cookouts, campfires and overnights, zip line and climbing wall, low ropes, recreational swim,performing arts, canoes, funyaks and paddle boats, and leadership and team-building activities.

Specialty camp weeks are also available for sports, cooking and horseback riding. 

Amity Acres Day Camp is open to all girls, ages 4-15, and boys, ages 5-11, who have sisters in camp the same week. New campers who attend any open house and register with a minimum deposit of $50 per week will receive a $20 discount for each week of camp. Registration must be completed within 48 hours of visiting an open house.

Activities during the Open House include a tour of camp property and crafts, as well as a drawing for a free week of basic camp and on-site registration.
