8th Annual Pro/Am Skimboarding Contest Coming to Sea Bright!

Registrations are now being accepted for SkimBash 2011, the Jersey Shore's premier Pro/Am skimboarding contest held June 25-26, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., on the Sea Bright Municipal Beach. This Skim USA points-accredited skimboarding competition attracts amateur and professional skimboarders from around the county and across the country.   Prizes are awarded to first, second and third place finishers in all divisions; the Pro division skims for a cash purse.   Spectators are welcome! This is a family event on the beach with music, food, and giveaways. Please come out and support the local skimboarding community.
