St. Francis Surf Clinic

Registration is open for a Surfing Clinic being held on September 19 and September 26 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at St. Francis Community Center, 4700 Long Beach
Blvd., Long Beach Township.

Lessons will be held in the indoor pool using soft surfboards and cover; safety, currents, tips to avoid being hit by the board, recognizing jetties, surfing with a partner, jelly
fish stings, choosing the right board, where to surf, wet suits, etc. Learn to paddle correctly and stand on a surfboard. The instructor, Michael Lisiewski, has over 20 year’s experience.
