Understanding Food Labels: Breaking It Down

Do such terms as “low fat”, “reduced calories”, and “no added sugar” leave you confused?  What about the terms “natural”, “healthy”, or “organic”?  Before your next grocery shopping outing, arm yourself with a better understanding.  In this program you will read some common product labels and familiarize yourself with advertisement lingo.  Let’s talk about your shopping experiences and concerns.
