Farmers Markets Return This Week To Barnegat, Manahawkin

BARNEGAT-MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Looking to pick up some fresh produce or support local crafters this week? Good news - both the Barnegat Farmers Market and Stafford Farmers Market are returning.

The Stafford market returns to Heritage Park on June 20 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. It'll be held every Tuesday (except July 4) through Aug. 29, with evening markets at Manahawkin Lake Park on July 10, Aug. 14 and Aug. 29.

A variety of vendors will offer everything from Jersey Fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh cut flowers, pasta, pickles, dips, hot sauce, butter, cakes, pies, scones, fresh mozzarella made on site and more. No specific list of vendors was available.

Next comes the Barnegat market, which is open every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting on June 22.

This popular market is located at 14 Birdsall St., across from the firehouse.

Farmers include Stillwell Farms, Krowicki Farms, Eckert Farm and Sassafras Hill Farm.
