Fatal Parkway Car Crash Near Barnegat On New Year's Day
A New Year's Day tragedy happened on the Parkway. The crash happened several days after another accident nearby that killed 4 people.

A 21-year-old man was killed in a car crash after he hit a utility pole off the Garden State Parkway on New Year's Day morning in Ocean County, police said.
Alexander Sebahie of Paramus was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash as a result of injuries he sustained, police said. The crash occurred near mile marker 70 in Waretown in Ocean County.

Sebahie was traveling northbound on the Parkway at about 4:15 a.m. when the Nissan Altima he was driving went off the highway and hit the pole, Peele said.

Authorities are still investigating the crash.
The right lane of the northbound Parkway was closed until late Tuesday morning, police said.
