First Bunny Hop 5K Set In Stafford Township

All proceeds from the first annual race will benefit Family Promise of Southern Ocean County.

STAFFORD, NJ — Mayor Greg Myhre and the Stafford Township Council have announced the first annual Bunny Hop 5K Fun Run and Walk as part of the Mayor's Wellness Campaign.

The race is set for April 2, the week before Easter.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Family Promise of Southern Ocean County, a local non-profit that helps Ocean County families facing homelessness by providing prevention, shelter and support programs.

Registration costs $30 before March 15, and if you register before then, you get a free Bunny Hop t-shirt.

Between March 15 and April 1, registration costs $35. It costs $40 on race day.

Race day packet begins at 8 a.m. and the race begins at 9 a.m. at the Stafford Township Municipal Complex, 260 East Bay Ave. in Manahawkin.
