Football Player Keith Elias Featured Guest At 9/11 Memorial Ceremony
New memorial with World Trade Center steel to be unveiled

The Barnegat Township school district will host a 9/11 memorial ceremony at 6 p.m. tonight at the football stadium.
The memorial, which will be unveiled, includes a piece of steel from the North Tower of the World Trade Center.
The featured guest for the evening is Keith Elias. Elias graduated Lacey Township High School in 1990. He was signed as a free agent out of college by the New York Giants where he played from 1994 through 1996. He last played in the NFL two seasons with the Indianapolis Colts in 1998 and 1999. In college, Elias played for the Princeton Tigers football team where he was an All-American.

Mayor Jeffrey Melchiondo, members of the Barnegat Township Committee, Assemblywoman DiAnne C. Gove (R-9), and Barnegat Township Board of Education President Lisa B.Becker will be making remarks.
