'Ghost' Gun Seized In Drug Raid At Barnegat Home: Police
Authorities seized two handguns — one defaced, one ghost gun — along with heroin and cocaine, and arrested 5 people, police said.

BARNEGAT, NJ — Five people are facing drug and weapons charges after a search at a Highland Drive home on Friday turned up heroin, crack and two weapons, including a so-called ghost gun, Barnegat Township police said.
Taquan Pearson, 30, Brittany Goodrich, 29, Jeffrey Bair, 51, and Zbigniew Mazur, 38, all of Barnegat, and Stanley Bair, 60, of Waretown, are being held at the Ocean County Jail, Toms River.
The Barnegat Police Department's Crime Reduction Unit recovered two illegal handguns — one was defaced, the other was a ghost gun, police said — along with unspecified amounts of crack cocaine and heroin, and about $4,000 in cash.

Pearson, Goodrich, Jeffrey Bair and Mazur all have Highland Drive addresses but police did not say if all lived at the home that was searched.
Pearson was charged with two counts of second-degree possession of a firearm, second-degree possession of a firearm during a drug offense, possession of heroin, possession with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, second-degree possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, and certain persons not to possess a weapon, police said.

Goodrich was charged with possession of heroin, possession with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine and second-degree possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, police said.
Jeffrey Bair was charged with possession of heroin and was arrested on an outstanding traffic warrant, police said. Stanley Bair was charged with possession of heroin and was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Mazur was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and had three no-bail warrants, police said.
The Barnegat Police Department Operations Division, the Ocean County Regional SWAT team and the Stafford Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit assisted, police said.
