MANAHAWKIN, NJ — The Grinch was caught and arrested in Manahawkin - and he's serving his sentence by bringing Christmas cheer to town.
Last week, Stafford police shared a humorous video to social media showing the Grinch attempting to steal a Christmas tree at Southern Regional High School.

After he was caught and arrested by police, the Grinch has been serving his sentence not just by visiting neighborhoods with Santa, he's also joining police in delivering gifts to homes.
Police are partnering with David's Dream & Believe Cancer Foundation to spread Christmas cheer while the Grinch serves his sentence.

Note: As of Dec. 7, due to "an overwhelming response," all spots for gifts are full.
Drop off wrapped gifts to the David's Dream & Believe Cancer Foundation office (102 East Bay Ave., Suite A) with a $20 donation and the Grinch will deliver the present to your home.
