Here's How You Can Help Ukrainian Refugees in Stafford

If you're looking to support Ukrainian refugees locally, you can bring donations to the Bay Avenue Community Center in Stafford.

BARNEGAT-MANHAWKIN, NJ – Looking for ways to support Ukrainian refugees locally? The Bay Avenue Community Center in Stafford is collecting donations locally to assist the people of Ukraine.

The Community Center is located at 775 E. Bay Avenue and is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Items are being collected until Friday, March 11. They are only accepting donations on the following list:

  • Over the counter medications for children and adults. This includes but is not limited to:
    • Saline eye drops
    • Pepto Bismol
    • Imodium
    • Hydrocortisone
    • Ibuprofen
    • Acetaminophen
    • Aspirin
    • Antibacterial ointment
  • Bandages of all sizes
  • Gauze
  • Saran Wrap
  • Tweezers
  • Safety pins
  • Gloves for wound care and medical staff
  • Needle and thread
  • Sleeping bags
  • Flashlights & batteries
  • Votive candles
  • First aid kits
  • Paper plates & plastic cutlery
  • Non-perishable food including but not limited to:
    • Oatmeal packets
    • Apple sauce (like Go Go Squeeze) packets
    • Baby food squeeze packs
    • Instant coffee
    • Tea bags
    • Granola bars
    • Freeze dried meals (like ones used for camping)
    • Jerky
  • Rain ponchos
  • Baby formula
  • Hygiene items like soap and shampoo
