Barnegat Baby’s Death Ruled A Homicide
The baby was found unconscious in a Staten Island home in March, police said. His death has been ruled a homicide.
STATEN ISLAND, NY — The death of a Barnegat 2-month-old baby is under investigation as a homicide, the New York Police Department said.
Paulie Khan was found unconscious and unresponsive after a 911 call on March 8, 2023 in Staten Island, according to the NYPD's Deputy Commissioner of Public Information.
Khan had no obvious signs of trauma when found, police said. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

An anonymous source told SILive.com that the baby had fentanyl in his system.
No arrests have been made as of Friday morning, and the investigation is ongoing, according to police.
