Kusznikow Piloting Boat That Ran Aground Over Weekend, State Police Say

Incident on 53-foot boat happened near Story Island In Little Egg Harbor Township.

Stafford Township Councilman President Robert Kusznikow was at the wheel of a sport fishing boat that ran aground last weekend and left four people injured, according to app.com.

The New Jersey State Police are investigating the cause of the accident.

Kusznikow, 69, owns the 53½-foot vessel Get Sum III, which struck land near Story Island in Little Egg Harbor Township, said Trooper Alina Gutierrez-Spies, a State Police spokeswoman.

Thirteen people were on the boat at the time of the accident. One was taken Atlanticare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City, three others were transported to Southern Ocean Medical Center in Manahawkin.
