Cases
The Ocean County Health Department has reported 97 positive cases in Barnegat and 84 in Stafford as of Saturday morning. The OCHD will provide daily updates here.

The department has reported 3,373 positive cases in Ocean County as of Saturday morning. State officials said Friday that 121 people in Ocean County have died from the new coronavirus.

Restrictions and Updates
- Governor Phil Murphy announced Tuesday the closure of all state and county parks. Ocean County closed all county parks March 31. Many state parks previously allowed passive recreation such as walking during the pandemic.
- Barnegat and Stafford officials asked all local businesses to require customers to wear cloth masks. MORE.

- All Wawa stores in New Jersey will designate an hour each day for shoppers at high risk of the new coronavirus. Wawa asked that all other customers avoid the store from 2-3 p.m. each day while high-risk individuals shop. MORE.
- ALDI stores began significantly limiting the number of customers allowed in each store Thursday. The grocery chain instituted several changes because of the novel coronavirus. MORE.
- The U.S. blood supply is facing a unique and unprecedented shortage in the wake of the ongoing new coronavirus pandemic. Donations from healthy people in Barnegat, Manahawkin and other communities are needed now more than ever to avoid another health care crisis, according to two of the nation's leading blood banks.
