Let Us Never Forget: Stories and Paintings of WWII With Frank McGinley
The Stafford branch of the Ocean County Library will be presenting this program on Wednesday, November 11th at 7:00 PM.
Join us for a journey through the battles and events of WWII with New Jersey’s award-winning military artist and author, Frank McGinley. Mr. McGinley will also display some of his original paintings from his book, Let Us Never Forget. The book’s illustrations of individuals, ships and units are part of moving recollections by actual participants. Books will be available for purchase and library books will be available for borrowing. Mr. McGinley has produced many paintings for the U.S. Air Force, and examples of his work are displayed at the Pentagon, West Point, McGuire Air Force Base, and the British War Museum. Come out and support our veterans. The Stafford branch is located at 129 N. Main St. in Manahawkin. This program is free and open to the public. Please register by calling the branch at (609) 597-3381, registering online at www.theoceancountylibrary.org or in person. If you have any questions, call the library for specific information.
