Little Egg Harbor Man, 78, Indicted For Sexual Abuse Of Four-Year-Old
Peter R. Simunovich is in the Ocean County Jail on $450,000 bail.
A Ocean County Grand Jury recently indicted a 78-year-old Little Egg Harbor man with the aggravated sexual assault of a four-year-old.
Peter R. Simunovich - who has a previous record of child abuse - was indicted for aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child, according toapp.com.
The indictment alleges that Simunovich committed acts of sexual penetration and sexual contact on a child between January and September of 2015 in Little Egg Harbor and in Point Pleasant Beach.The victim was 4 when the alleged sexual abuse started and had turned 5 by the time Simunovich was arrested on the charges on Sept. 24, 2015, according to the indictment.

He has remained in jail since his arrest in lieu of $450,000. Simunovich and the victim knew each other, according to the indictment.
