Little Egg Man Caught With Heroin For 2nd Time This Month: Police

Police found him 16 days earlier with heroin he intended to distribute, according to authorities. He was released from jail.

LITTLE EGG HARBOR, NJ — Police found heroin in a Little Egg Harbor man's home Wednesday, two weeks after he was charged with intent to distribute heroin, according to authorities. He was arrested and released on a summons, police said.

Police executed a search warrant on Darin McCormick's home at about 11 a.m. Wednesday, finding heroin and related paraphernalia, officials said. McCormick, 53, was charged with two counts of drug possession and one count of drug paraphernalia possession, police said.

Police found McCormick and another man Jan. 13 as they conducted another drug investigation at the Harbor Island Plaza. Authorities seized heroin and related paraphernalia from McCormick and Thomas W. Erb, of Stafford, police said.

McCormick was charged with heroin possession, possession of heroin with intent to distribute and tampering with physical evidence, police said. Erb was charged with heroin possession, according to authorities.
