The Seniors team, sponsored by downtown pizza restaurant Spiaggia e Luna, has never taken first, said league president Denise Pilovsky, so the win was very exciting for the team.
The league has more than 160 participants, many of whom juggle school sports on top of rec softball and other activities, Pilovsky said.
