USA Today readers voted Long Beach Island as one of NJ's best. Here's how it ranked:
LONG BEACH ISLAND, NJ — Every summer, thousands flock to Long Beach Island to spend the hot days lounging at the beaches. It's one of the most popular destinations and often named one of the best, and it has been again thanks to a new USA Today poll.
The USA Today Reader's Choice poll named Long Beach Island sixth-best beach in New Jersey out of the top 10.
In first place is the Wildwoods.

"Whether you're surfing the waves, fishing off the shoreline, splashing in the shallow water, or napping on your beach blanket, Long Beach Island provides a quintessential beach experience," USA Today wrote.
USA Today highlights LBI's "idyllic beaches, charming seaside communities, and an abundance of recreational opportunities for beachgoers of all ages."
