Man Caught Stealing From Cars In Ocean Acres: Police
Stafford police say that the man was found walking around Mizzen Avenue at 1 a.m. with money and other items he stole from cars.
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — An Ocean Acres man was charged with two counts of burglary after he was caught stealing from cars in the middle of the night, Stafford police said.
It was about 1 a.m. on Oct. 16 when a Mizzen Avenue resident told police he had seen a suspicious person in his driveway on his security camera, police said.
Officers canvassed the area and found a man walking on the street who matched the caller's description. That man was identified as Mark Paturzzio, 47, of Neptune Drive, according to police.

Paturzzio had money and other assorted items on him from other car burglaries he committed that night in Ocean Acres, police said. He was charged with two counts of burglary, and the investigation is ongoing.
He was taken to Ocean County Jail, police said, pending a court appearance.
